You already know what the weather is. The harder question is the one a forecast never answers: given how cold is too cold for you, how much wind ruins your photos, and how much pollen you can tolerate — which two hours of this week are actually worth going outside for? HOW IT WORKS 1. Set your limits. Temperature, rain, wind, UV, air quality, pollen. Your numbers, not a generic comfort index. 2. Describe the activity. A walk, a run, a photo session, outdoor work, plant care, a commute, or something you define yourself. Each template splits conditions into required (a breach rules the window out) and preferred (weighted, and the weights must add up to 100%). 3. Run Window Finder. Pick a place, a date range, an earliest and latest hour, and a duration. 4. Read the explanation. Every candidate window is labelled Best Match, Acceptable or Not Recommended, and every label opens into the reasons behind it: which required conditions passed, which failed, and what each preferred condition contributed to the score. 5. Save it as a plan. From there Cloud Crown keeps watching the forecast the plan was built on. WHEN THE FORECAST MOVES A saved plan is not frozen. If an update breaks a required condition or drops the score sharply, the plan surfaces under Plans at Risk with the specific change that caused it. You decide: keep it, switch to your backup window, or search again. Nothing is rescheduled behind your back, and an alert is only raised after two forecast snapshots have actually been compared. NUMBERS YOU CAN TRACE Every value carries a unit, a source, an update time, whether it is observed or forecast, and the available confidence. A score can be reproduced from its rules version and the snapshot it was built on. If the forecast has moved on, the old explanation is marked Superseded instead of quietly rewritten. Missing data reads Unknown or Needs Verification — never zero dressed up as a measurement. Offline, you get the last cached snapshot with its age shown on the surface, not a stale number pretending to be current. FIVE SECTIONS, ONE RECORD Today, Find Window, Plans, Places and History are views on the same data. Change a threshold and only the dependent results recalculate, and the change is written to History. Tap any figure and you land on the records it was computed from. AFTER THE FACT Once an activity is over you can log what it was really like: conditions matched, too hot, too windy, would repeat. Feedback never overwrites the forecast — it is stored next to the snapshot that produced the plan. After ten rated activities, Insights starts pointing out your most reliable hours, your recurring mismatches and the places that keep working out, each one linked back to the plans it came from.
