Store description excerpt
ClickCue is your pocket music director. Most bands don’t have a talk-back mic or in-ear monitors. ClickCue puts the same beat and the next section on every stand, so you can call the room without waving, yelling, or extra hardware. Free to download and use on iPhone and iPad. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no account. Devices talk over local Wi-Fi. Nothing is uploaded. WHAT YOU GET ON STAGE Shared visual metronome Every device follows the same beat timeline, so a dropped packet or a slow frame does not let anyone drift. Optional headphone click stays on your own device. Headphones-only is on by default, so a dropped cable will not blast the room. Colour-coded cues Intro, Verse, Pre-Chorus, Chorus, Bridge, Tag, Solo, End. Each has its own colour, can be spoken in your headphones, and lands on the next beat. Dynamic tags Add Up, Down, Acapella, Build, Bring Down or any emoji on top of the section without losing where you are. Songs, charts and set lists Save tempo, time signature, count-in, keys and tags per song. Attach a PDF chart. ClickCue can suggest title, tempo, key and time signature from SongSelect-style PDFs for you to review before applying. Open the current song’s chart in one tap from Director or Musician when the PDF is on that device. Share songs or whole set lists as .clickcue files over AirDrop, Messages or Files. If a share includes charts, ClickCue asks you to confirm you have the right to share them. Blend suggestions help you find songs within one tone and 3 BPM. Sort and filter your library by name, key, tags or a custom order. Count-in and tap tempo A visible 4-3-2-1 that starts on the downbeat. Already running? It waits for the next bar. Tap to find the tempo. If the director disconnects, musicians stay on the last beat instead of a false count-in. Attention flash Flash every musician’s screen when you tap, or automatically whenever you send a cue or change the session. PLAYING IN UNDER A MINUTE Open the library. Add songs with tempo, meter, keys and count-in. Attach charts if you like, then group them into set lists. Start as Music Director. ClickCue shows a four-digit session code. The band joins as Musician, picks the director, and types the code. Hit Count In. Every screen counts down together, then pulses as one. Send cues as the song moves. BUILT FOR REAL ROOMS Works without talk-back or in-ears. Still works if you already have them. Supports 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 6/8. Each musician can choose quarter, eighth, sixteenth or triplet pulses locally. If someone’s phone locks or they get a call, ClickCue reconnects and re-syncs without stopping the rest of the band. Reconnect shows clear progress, guidance and a Cancel button back to the home screen. Cue the band without talk-back or in-ears. Requires two or more devices on the same Wi-Fi network. iOS 18 or later.
