Designed for pilots and flight students, and useful for photographers and anyone planning around daylight. AVIATION • EASA night boundaries based on civil twilight. • FAA general night under 14 CFR 1.1. • Position-light period under 14 CFR 91.209. • Passenger Night Currency period under 14 CFR 61.57(b). SUN, TWILIGHT AND MOON • Sunrise and sunset. • Civil, nautical and astronomical dawn and dusk as complete intervals. • Morning and evening Golden Hour. • Moon phase and approximate illumination. • Clear states for midnight sun, polar night and thresholds that are not crossed. LOCATION AND TIME Use your current position temporarily, select a point on the map or save locations for later. Times are shown in the selected location’s local time, with optional UTC. LOCAL-FIRST AND PRIVATE No account, advertising, analytics or tracking. Saved locations remain on your device. Astronomical calculations and saved locations work offline.
