Store description excerpt
The new test. The current answers. On October 20, 2025, USCIS replaced the 100-question civics test with a new 128-question version. The interview now asks up to 20 questions and you need 12 correct. Civics 128 is built for that test, not the old one. EVERY QUESTION, WORD FOR WORD All 128 official questions and their acceptable answers, taken directly from USCIS Form M-1778. Nothing rewritten, nothing summarized. IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH Study in Spanish with the English shown alongside — because the interview itself is conducted in English unless you qualify for an exception. Tap any question to hear it read aloud in either language. The real test is spoken, so practice it that way. A PRACTICE INTERVIEW THAT WORKS LIKE THE REAL ONE Most study apps ask you all 20 questions every time. A real officer doesn't — they stop as soon as you reach 12 correct, or 9 incorrect. Civics 128 does the same, so you know what passing actually feels like. ANSWERS FOR WHERE YOU LIVE Four questions depend on your state: your U.S. senators, your governor, your state capital, and your representative. These change, and out-of-date answers are the most common complaint about citizenship apps. Ours show the date they were verified, and tell you to confirm before your interview. THE 65/20 EXCEPTION If you are 65 or older and have been a permanent resident for 20+ years, you take a shorter test — 20 designated questions, 10 asked, 6 to pass. That track is built in. READING AND WRITING TOO The complete official USCIS reading and writing vocabulary lists, with audio. WHAT'S INSIDE • All 128 official civics questions and answers • Full Spanish translation, with English shown as the authoritative text • Text-to-speech in both languages • Practice interview with the real stop-early scoring rules • 65/20 exception mode • Study by topic, or drill only the questions you have missed • Official reading and writing vocabulary lists — free, no unlock needed • Answers for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, with verification dates • Works completely offline — no account, no sign-up, no data collected Free covers the first 25 questions, a full practice interview, and both complete vocabulary lists. One payment unlocks the remaining 103 questions, unlimited practice interviews, and the 65/20 mode. No subscription, ever. Questions and answers are from USCIS Form M-1778 (2025 civics test). The Spanish translation is an unofficial study aid; the English text is authoritative. This app provides general study information, is not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
