Informed Citizen An app available to all citizens, free to download, to stay updated on alert statuses in Tuscany. The result of a collaboration between the Tuscany Region and the Tuscany National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI), it provides not only alert statuses but also information on risk areas and safe zones to reach in the event of a natural disaster, as well as recommendations for each type of risk. Municipal administrations can send reports or alerts for both civil protection and public utility purposes and make available the main contents of their Civil Protection Plans. In collaboration with Cispel Toscana, public utility information from integrated water service companies is also made available. In collaboration with the National Association of Irrigation and Reclamation (ANBI) of Tuscany, public utility information from Land Reclamation Consortia is also made available. In addition to tablets and smartphones, the app's contents are also available on the website linked to the portal of the municipalities participating in the project: www.cittadinoinformato.it
