Whistle is the official grievance reporting platform built exclusively for Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai. It empowers students and staff to raise concerns, report issues, and seek resolutions in a secure and confidential manner. With Whistle, you can choose to submit your grievance anonymously or with your identity — the choice is yours. When you submit anonymously, your name, roll number, and email are not revealed to grievance reviewers or administrators. Submitting a grievance is simple and guided. Choose a category and subcategory, describe your concern, set the priority level, and attach supporting evidence such as photos, videos, audio recordings, or documents — all through an easy 3-step process. Once submitted, you can track the status of every grievance you have raised — from submitted and under review to in progress and resolved — directly within the app. Your data security is a priority. Personal information, grievance content, and user records are protected using encryption, while communication between the app and our servers is secured using HTTPS/TLS. Attached files such as images, videos, and documents are stored securely and are accessible only through authorized, time-limited access. Student and staff profiles are securely accessible within the app, allowing you to view your institutional information at any time. Accounts are provisioned exclusively by Chennai Institute of Technology — there is no public sign-up. Students and staff log in using their institutional credentials or Google Sign-In linked to their college email.
