Store description excerpt
Ten pieces. That is all Cinch needs before it can dress you. Photograph ten things you already own — three tops, two bottoms, a dress, two pairs of shoes, a coat and a bag. Don't wear dresses? Cinch turns that position into another top or bottom. It identifies each piece, counts what your ten can make, and dresses you in the first outfit. You do not have to photograph your whole wardrobe first. Ten pieces is a wardrobe, and the ten-piece closet is free. BUILT FROM WHAT YOU OWN Every outfit is assembled from garments in your closet. Cinch does not invent a missing piece or ask you to buy one first. Use your own photograph, or choose a shop's product image for something you already own. YOUR CLOSET FIRST Shop only when something is genuinely missing. Cinch can show up to three retailer options for a named closet gap, or open the shop page for a piece in a friend's closet. Cinch has no cart or checkout. Some links may earn commission; a paid link is labelled on the link itself. THE MATHS RUNS ON YOUR PHONE Outfits are built and scored on your iPhone from your real garments, so Cinch still dresses you on a plane or with no signal. Colour is judged in OKLCH, a perceptual colour space. Weather, formality, plans, wear history and your reactions shape the result. A model may re-rank a short list the on-device engine already built and write the reason underneath; it cannot add a garment that is not in that list. EVERY OUTFIT COMES WITH ITS REASON Not a score or percentage — a sentence explaining why this coat, on this day, over this knit. DRESSED FOR THE ACTUAL WEATHER Cinch uses apparent temperature where you are, not only the forecast high. It accounts for wind and rain, and avoids rain-hostile materials. IT UNDERSTANDS A WHOLE DAY Dinner at seven and drinks at ten are not the same dress code. Type what is ahead, or optionally connect your calendar, and Cinch looks for one outfit that carries the day. IT LEARNS YOU Like an outfit, skip it, or say why it is wrong — too formal, not your colours, worn too recently. Cinch adjusts from your reactions and shows what it has learned. PACK WITHOUT OVERPACKING Tell Cinch where you are going and for how long. It reads the forecast there and works out a small set of clothes that can cover the trip, while saying plainly when a day cannot be filled. ASK THE STYLIST Ask what to wear or what your closet is missing. The stylist answers from what you own and says when the right thing is not there. ASK YOUR FRIENDS Create an invite-only event, share options from your closets, vote and comment. Browse a friend's shared closet and privately ask to borrow a piece. Blocking and reporting controls are built into the social surfaces. SEE YOUR OWN STORY Cinch records wears, most-worn and untouched pieces, and cost per wear. Storage is reversible and keeps the photograph and wear history. Permanent removal is a separate, confirmed action. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT iOS gives Cinch only the photos you choose. Cinch asks befo
