Most church calendars pick one tradition and never tell you which. This one puts two reckonings on the same row. For every moveable date — Ash Wednesday or Clean Monday, Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Easter or Pascha, Ascension, Pentecost — you get the Western date and the Eastern date side by side, and the number of days apart they fall that year. Any year, not just this one. Type a year from 1583 to 2200 and the whole table is recomputed. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is kept on a server; the dates come from arithmetic that runs on the phone. Years outside that range are refused rather than guessed, because a date this app has not checked is worse than no date. It says which reckoning it is using. Each column is labelled. The West column is the Gregorian computus. The East column is the Julian computus, converted — and the conversion offset is not a constant: ten days in the sixteen hundreds, thirteen today, fourteen from 2100. The East splits again, and you choose. Churches on the Old Calendar keep fixed feasts on Julian dates, so Christmas lands on 7 January. Churches on the Revised Julian keep them on 25 December. Easter itself is the same either way — both use the Julian computus. 29 observances. Both cycles are covered, including the ones only one tradition keeps: Meatfare and Forgiveness Sunday, Lazarus Saturday, Trinity Sunday, the Sunday of All Saints, the start of the Apostles' Fast and the Nativity Fast. It does not tell you which one is right. There is no verdict in this app. It shows both reckonings, names them, and leaves the choosing to you. Share a year as a card, or a single observance with both of its dates. Works with no network at all. No account, no sign-in, nothing leaves the phone.
