Chronicler is a temporary recording workspace for lectures, meetings, interviews, classes, and conversations worth capturing. Start recording, photograph important slides or notes with Clipper, and send everything where it needs to go. Each photo is automatically marked with its exact position in the recording, making it easy to connect a whiteboard, diagram, or presentation slide to the moment it was discussed. BUILT FOR FOCUSED RECORDING • Start, pause, resume, and stop recordings • Continue recording while your iPhone is locked or Chronicler is in the background • Follow recording status from a Live Activity • Rename sessions without interrupting the recording • See a calm, responsive analogue-style recording instrument CAPTURE CONTEXT WITH CLIPPER Open the built-in still camera without stopping your audio recording. Every Clipper photo is stored privately inside its recording session and includes a recording-relative timestamp such as 12:07 or 01:03:18. Nothing is automatically added to your Photos library. SELECT AND SEND Choose exactly what you want to export: • MP3 audio • Individual Clipper photos • Audio and selected photos • The complete session Chronicler uses the native iOS sharing interface, so you can send files through AirDrop, save them to Files, or share them with compatible apps. TEMPORARY BY DESIGN Completed sessions remain available for 24 hours. Chronicler displays the remaining time and can remind you before a session expires. After expiration, the recording, photos, metadata, and temporary export files are automatically removed. PRIVATE AND LOCAL • No account • No login • No cloud database • No subscriptions • No permanent media library • Recordings and photos remain on your device until you export or delete them A brief interstitial advertisement may appear only while MP3 audio is being prepared for export. Ads never appear while recording, using Clipper, or exporting photos alone. Record. Clip. Send.
