Store description excerpt

Is that shirt green or brown? ChromaCue answers it. Point the camera at a wall, a shirt, or a flower. A center reticle reads the color under it and names the nearest of 31,920 bundled colors, live and on device. No more guessing, and no more asking someone else. WHEN COLORS ARE HARD TO TELL APART Set your type of color vision — deuteranopia, protanopia, or tritanopia — and ChromaCue shows you how any color reads to you versus how it reads to everyone else. Every color also lists its confusable colors: the specific shades that are easy to mix up with it, so you can check a pair before it matters. Red and green stop being a coin flip. NAME AND CHECK ANY COLOR Search 31,920 named colors by name or hex, or browse them all filtered by base color. Open any color for its HEX, RGB, and CMYK values with tap-to-copy, plus complementary and similar swatches and a generated harmony palette. Sample from a photo in your library when the camera is not practical. KEEP WHAT MATTERS Favorite the colors you rely on and group them into palettes you can rename, reorder, share, and reopen — the shirt that matches, the paint you picked, the brand colors you have to get right. The interface stays a neutral high-key gray, so identified colors are the only saturated thing on screen and nothing on the page skews your judgment. Your colors stay yours: no account, no sign-in, no ads. Favorites, palettes, recent searches, camera captures, and settings are stored locally on your device and never leave it. ChromaCue sends anonymous crash reports and aggregate usage counts to improve the app — never your colors, your searches, or your images — and does not track you across apps or websites. ChromaCue identifies and names colors. It does not correct, treat, or diagnose color vision deficiency.
