Store description excerpt
Your ear is an instrument. Let's make practice fun! A chord plays. You pick out an interval inside it and drop it on your card. Complete a full line and you win the round. Come back tomorrow and the chords you fumbled last week start to sound obvious. chorDLE is built like a game because a game is the thing you'll actually keep playing, and playing is what trains your ear. Start easy with two-note intervals and work up through fourteen levels: sixths and sevenths, triads, inversions, wide octave-spread voicings, full seventh chords. Hear an interval that isn't on your grid? Call the gambit — name it, and if you're right you swap it onto any tile on your card, even a locked one. Miss and your free square locks. You get a few tries per clue, too: run out and it reveals and locks. Reveal a chord and every note shows up on a piano with its name and octave. Hear it as a block, or one note at a time, until it sticks. Six ways to play: - Solo, the main game: fourteen levels, bonus rewards, and a mulligan to undo a bad guess. - Daily quiz: one chord, one interval, a fast rep for your streak. - Classic chorDLE — count the notes: how many are ringing? The original game, by ear. - Sing it back: hear a shape and sing the notes into your mic. It scores your pitch and goes easy on you. - Hear the intervals: no scoring, just a sandbox for your ears. - Multiplayer: host a room and play chords, or join in and race to guess. Watch your ear get better: accuracy on every interval, a line that tracks your progress, and a map of what you've got down cold. Solo works offline. Sign in with Discord or Apple to sync across devices and get on the leaderboard. Made by the producers and musicians at Beat Kitchen, a real community with weekly gyms, office hours, and feedback sessions. There's a seat if you want one. Good for producers, DJs, singers, and anyone with an instrument and a little curiosity. Easy on day one, still tough at level fourteen. Turn it on and start guessing. Your ears are better than you think.
