The detailed categories preserve the original themes, so you can move from a broad interest to a more specific collection. Continue the story you last opened, explore today’s pick, search by title, character or keyword, or use Random story when you are ready for something unexpected. PINYIN, CHARACTER BY CHARACTER Turn on Pinyin in the reader to see pronunciation aligned directly above each Chinese character. This two-line layout helps you connect sound and text without moving back and forth between the story and a separate reference. Pinyin can be switched off at any time, giving you a clean Chinese-only reading view when you no longer need the extra guidance. It is useful for children, Chinese learners and anyone who occasionally meets an unfamiliar character. LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG Read-aloud uses the text-to-speech capability available on your device to speak the current story. While it plays, the current portion of text is highlighted and the reading position follows automatically, making it easier to keep your eyes and ears on the same place. If you scroll manually to inspect another paragraph, the reader respects that action instead of immediately pulling the page away from you. Voice quality and availability depend on the system TTS engine and voices installed on your device; the app does not claim a human narrator or a separate cloud voice service. KEEP THE STORIES FLOWING At the end of a story, a clear completion area shows what comes next and provides easy previous and next navigation. Read-aloud settings let you choose a single story, continue in sequence, or use a random continuous mode. When continuous reading is enabled, the app carries forward the category or search context that led you to the story, so the next selection remains meaningful. Playback also gives way when you choose to browse or leave the reader. READ IN A WAY THAT FEELS COMFORTABLE Adjust the text size and choose from warm paper, eye-care, vintage, ivory, night and other reading themes. The warm paper theme provides a calm default for everyday reading, while the night theme reduces the bright page surface in darker surroundings. Essential tools stay together at the bottom of the reader: read aloud, font, theme, Pinyin and catalog. They remain easy to reach without burying the reading experience under complicated menus.
