Chickadee Locate is a companion app. It works with your family's Chickadee Bandit hub, where safe zones and the family map are set up and managed. WHAT IT DOES • Safe-zone alerts — Get an arrival or departure alert the moment someone reaches a place that matters (school, home, a grandparent's house). Alerts keep working even when the app is closed. • Family map — This phone shares its location with your hub so family members can see where everyone is. • Hold-to-send SOS — One press alerts your whole household with your location when you need help fast. • Set up in seconds — By default, this phone tracks you. Setting up a child's phone? An adult can switch it to their child right from the app. • Battery-friendly — Location updates are batched and tuned to sip battery. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your location is shared only with your own family's private hub — never sold, never shared with advertisers, never handed to third parties. You choose who is tracked, and you can pause or stop tracking anytime. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with your Chickadee Bandit account. 2. Allow "Always" location so safe-zone alerts work in the background. 3. That's it — your family sees arrivals and departures on the hub. Requires a Chickadee Bandit household hub and account. Continuous use of background location can decrease battery life.
