Store description excerpt
Every language app hands you more content. Centum hands you one. Centum is a tool for a single method: pick one film you love, and watch it a hundred times — until the lines live in your mouth instead of your notebook. THE FIVE STAGES 1 · Watch it once with no subtitles at all. Just enjoy it. You'll miss most of it, and that's the point. 2 · Watch it with subtitles in your own language. Now you know the story cold. 3 · Watch it with English subtitles. Sound starts snapping onto spelling. 4 · Go line by line. Loop a single sentence, say it out loud, record yourself, compare. Stay on a line until it's yours. 5 · Then watch — or just listen — for the remaining laps. Screen off, on the train, doing the dishes. This is where the fluency actually gets built. WHAT THE APP DOES · Sentence looping — tap any line to loop it, frame-accurate, no drift. · Shadow recording — hear the original, say it, hear yourself back, both drawn side by side as waveforms. · A lap count you can't fake — a lap only counts when the playhead really went through: 1.5x speed or slower, 90% of the film or more, no scrubbing your way to the end. Dragging the slider earns you nothing. · A hundred squares — one per lap, shaded by the stage you were in. Watching your film fill up is the whole point of the thing. · Bilingual subtitles aligned by timecode, not by line number — two subtitle files are almost never from the same release, and off-by-one alignment ruins everything. · Background listening with lock screen controls. Stage five is mostly ears. · Notes and per-sentence mastery, so you can see which lines still aren't yours. · Eight languages: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING Centum ships with no films and no subtitles. It is a tool, not a library. You bring: · A video file in MP4 or MOV (H.264 or HEVC). MKV and AVI cannot be played on iOS — this is a system limitation, not a setting. · A subtitle file (.srt or .ass). One in English, plus optionally one in your own language for stage two. Without any subtitles you can still watch the film and count laps, but stages two through four need them. Import your files through the Files app. PRIVACY No account. No sign-up. Nothing to log in to. Your films, your notes, your recordings and your lap count live in this device's sandbox and go nowhere. Delete the app and all of it is gone with it. — The method is 장동완's 100LS. The app is just the tool that makes it survivable. Questions or ideas: business@zhidun-ai.com
