CateLMS gives school teachers and counselors mobile access to their CateLMS platform — caseloads, gradebooks, student records, and referrals — from anywhere on campus. This app is provided at no cost to staff at schools that use CateLMS. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or payments of any kind. Your account will be created or approved by your school or district. WHAT YOU CAN DO - See your day at a glance — classes, tasks, alerts, and students who need attention - Take attendance and enter grades, including by voice - Log behavior incidents in seconds, without leaving the screen you're on - Refer a student to a counselor and track the response - Review student records: grades, standards mastery, attendance, and support history - Build a substitute packet from what's already in your classes - Create and manage lesson plans - Get notified when a referral, parent message, or early-warning alert needs you BUILT FOR THE WAY SCHOOL ACTUALLY WORKS Most of what a counselor or teacher needs to record happens away from a desk — in a hallway, between classes, during a conversation. CateLMS is built for those moments: log a behavior incident in four taps, dictate grades while walking back to your room, check a student's history before a parent call. STUDENT PRIVACY CateLMS is designed around FERPA obligations. Access is scoped to your role and your school. Every action on a student record is logged so your district can see who accessed what. Notifications deliberately contain no student names, grades, or note content — only a prompt and a reference the app resolves after your device is unlocked. Nothing sensitive appears on a lock screen. Sensitive records are encrypted, and the app supports Face ID, Touch ID, and a server-enforced device lock that a lost or stolen phone cannot bypass. We do not sell personal information, serve advertising, track users across other apps, or allow any vendor to use student data to train AI models.
