Most planners want you to build a system first — projects, tags, priorities, recurring rules. Carpe doesn't. There's nothing to configure and nothing to learn. Add a few activities, hit start, put your phone down. No account. No subscription nag. No sync, no cloud, no analytics — your plans stay on your phone. No streaks to protect or badges to earn. Just a way to spend an open afternoon on purpose. Plan in seconds: Tap a saved preset or add an activity. Each one shows the projected start and end times, so you're planning against a real afternoon instead of abstract durations. A single bar across the top shows how the whole stretch breaks down. Once you start, the screen is one thing: what you're doing now, how much time is left, and a bar showing where you are in the plan. What's next is one swipe away when you want it, and invisible when you don't. Adjust without starting over: Running late on something? Add time. Finished early? Skip ahead — the timeline re-proportions to what actually happened, not what you guessed. Reorder, rename, or add activities mid-session. Went to the wrong one? Step back. It keeps going when you don't: Lock your phone and the plan carries on. A Live Activity puts your current activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. You get a notification at each hand-off. Close the app for an hour and reopen it — Carpe knows exactly where you should be. Start whenever: Start now, or pick a time. Choose 3:00PM when it's already 3:09 and you'll drop in nine minutes deep, right where you'd be. Choose a time later today and Carpe waits, counting down.
