Cardzo replaces the pen-and-paper scorepad. One phone, passed around the table. Seventy-seven games are built in — Hearts, Rummy, Skat, Belote, Cribbage, Canasta, Whist, Euchre, darts, bowling and dominoes among them — each with the right sheet, the right arithmetic, and the rules on hand when someone disputes a number. Pick a game, add the players, start counting. BUILT FOR A REAL TABLE Big numbers you can read from across the table, in bright sun or on a dark terrace. Its own number pad, never the system keyboard, so a four-player round is three taps a person. Nothing to learn: pick a game and the sheet is already the right shape. EVERY HOUSE RULE IS A SETTING Your table does not play it the way the box says, and neither does anyone else's. Play to 500 instead of 100. Turn a penalty into a bonus. Change the target halfway through — the whole sheet recalculates, because Cardzo never stores a total it can work out. Six hundred and forty-five of these settings across the catalogue, all written out in plain language, because the argument about whether the dealer can make the bids balance should take ten seconds and not ten minutes. THE SHEET KNOWS THE GAME A darts leg records all three darts, not just what they added up to, and handles busts and double-outs itself. A trick-taking sheet counts down the cards dealt each round and shows whose turn it is to deal. A scorecard knows which box is still open. A round is never just a blank box. GAME NIGHTS AND A LEAGUE OF YOUR OWN Add your friends to a circle and Saturday becomes a season. The host starts a game night, everyone joins with one code from their own phone, and the score follows live on every screen — only the host can touch it. Each finished game feeds the boards: a league table with wins and average position, and a skill rating per game — beating the group's best at Hearts pays more than beating the beginner, and Hearts never mixes with Oh Hell. Every change is explained, opponent by opponent, and any result can be confirmed or disputed with one tap. RULES IN FIVE LANGUAGES English, Danish, German, Spanish and French — the interface and every one of the seventy-seven rule sets, written from scratch rather than copied from anywhere. TOOLS WITHOUT LEAVING THE MATCH Dice roller with hold-between-rolls, timer, buzzer, coin flip, random picker and team splitter. Open one over a live sheet and nothing is lost. UNDO ANYTHING Every entry, every settings change, every player added mid-match. With a note saying what it was you just undid. THE SCOREPAD NEEDS NO ACCOUNT Keeping score requires no sign-up and no internet — that part of Cardzo works in a field with no signal, forever, and your matches live on your phone. Playing ranked is an optional extra: sign in with Apple, and only your display name and the matches your table chooses to rank are stored, on servers in the EU.
