CardVera is a private business-card scanner and local contact Library designed for careful, useful results—not blind automation. Scan a card with the camera or choose a photo. CardVera recognizes text on your device, organizes the result into editable fields, and lets you review everything before anything is saved. Field markers can show where a value came from on the original card, helping you correct unclear recognition quickly. BUILT FOR PEOPLE AND BUSINESSES Choose Person mode for names, roles, meeting context, tags, and optional follow-up reminders. Choose Business mode for structured opening hours, Open Now status, phone calls, directions, websites, booking links, and reviewed social profiles. A LIBRARY THAT STAYS USEFUL Save reviewed cards inside CardVera even if you do not use Apple Contacts. Search your Library, edit details, retain card images only when you choose, and remove images later without deleting the record. TRY IT FREE, THEN UNLOCK ONCE Your first 10 successful new Library saves are free. After that, one optional CardVera Lifetime purchase unlocks unlimited new saves—no subscription. Existing cards always remain available, and adding missing details or replacing a saved match does not use the allowance. The App Store shows the exact localized price before purchase. SAFER DUPLICATE HANDLING Possible duplicates are shown before a new record is created. You decide whether to add only missing details, replace one confirmed saved card, keep a separate copy, or cancel. Existing Apple Contacts fields are never silently overwritten. Camera, Contacts, notifications, file exports, calls, directions, and links are used only after an action you choose. Apple Contacts export is optional, and your reviewed CardVera Library remains available without it.
