Store description excerpt
Digital Table/Order Menu is BeeFood's self-service application for tablets installed in restaurants, bars, and snack bars. The customer views the complete menu with photos and descriptions, assembles the order by choosing sizes, flavors, extras, and notes, tracks the summary of the table bill or order slip, calls the waiter, and rates the service—all directly from the table. MAIN FEATURES • Digital menu with photos, descriptions, highlights, and search function • Orders by table or tab, with QR Code scanning • Option groups: sizes, pizza flavors, extras, and reductions • Call a waiter and send messages to customer service • Bill summary, service charge, cashback, and bill closing • Customer registration and identification by CPF/CNPJ and phone number • Service evaluation and satisfaction survey • Available in Portuguese, Spanish, and English USE OF ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (AccessibilityService API) This application uses the AccessibilityService API exclusively to offer Kiosk Mode, an optional feature intended for the establishment administrator who installs the tablet in the dining area for public use. This feature is not intended for the end consumer and is unrelated to the common use of the menu. What the service does: When Kiosk Mode is enabled by the administrator, the "Table/Order Menu — Kiosk Mode" service identifies when another screen attempts to take over the tablet — notification panel, Home button, list of recent apps, or settings screen — and returns the device to the menu. This prevents customers from leaving the app, opening other apps, or changing the establishment's tablet settings. Why it's necessary: The more restricted Android APIs for this purpose, which the app also uses (screen pinning and setting the app as the home screen), do not cover all possible outputs. The accessibility service only complements what these APIs do not cover. How it's activated: Never automatically. The administrator needs to open the password-protected administrative panel, read a detailed notice about the purpose of the service, and expressly agree. Only then does the app open the Android Settings, where activation is done manually by the administrator. The service can be deactivated at any time in the Android Settings, and the application continues to function normally without it. While Kiosk Mode is not active, the service ignores all events. Personal data: the accessibility service does not read screen content for collection, does not capture what is typed, and does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. Nothing is sent to our servers or to third parties through it. This is not an accessibility application aimed at people with disabilities and, therefore, does not use the isAccessibilityTool signage.
