A used car tells you things its owner will not: 340 microns on a wing that should read 110, the crushed edge of a bolt that has been undone, a noise that disappears once the engine warms. In Car Inspection Simulator you run your own vehicle inspection shop. A customer brings a car in, you examine it, and you sign the report. Then you have to stand behind that signature. ACTUALLY INSPECT THE CAR The car sits on the lift in 3D. Touch a panel and read its paint thickness on the micron gauge. Check the bolt heads and find the part that has been replaced. Pressure-test the cooling system, hunt leaks with the smoke machine. Brake tester, dyno bench, compression kit — nine instruments across eight stations. YOUR REPORT HAS A PRICE What you miss comes back. The customer returns with a complaint, your reputation drops, you refund the fee. You can re-examine the car — but if you never really looked the first time, they will know. WHEN THE DEALER MAKES AN OFFER Some customers want the report to come out clean and will pay for it. Taking the money is easy. If the defect you hid surfaces later, you settle the bill. GROW THE SHOP Buy instruments, add bays, hire an inspector. Nobody brings a full inspection to a shop without a dyno bench — the better your equipment, the better the work that comes through the door.
