Capture Snagging & Walk-Downs follows a build from first pour to handover: defects, recurring site visits, deliveries as they arrive, and deviations from what was ordered. iPhone, iPad and Mac, fully offline, with every document ready to send before you leave site. REGISTRATIONS IN SECONDS Title, description, severity (1–5), photos with captions and mark-up, voice memos, GPS, due date, responsible party and category. On-device Vision suggests a category and severity from your photo. SITE VISITS — SUPERVISION OVER TIME Tap "Start visit" when you're standing on site. Today's checklist puts the points reported as fixed first, then the ones that have survived the most visits, so you walk the site instead of scrolling a list. Age is measured in visits, not days: "open through 4 visits" says you have raised the same point four times, and a counter shows how often a repair was rejected at re-check. Finalising a visit locks that day's snapshot and produces the visit note: new points, closed since last visit, and what is still open. PARTIES AND SIGNATURES Add the companies on the project once; they pre-fill the responsible party and group the walk by contractor. One signature per company covers that company's points from the day: a contractor acknowledges the points, a client is recorded as present and informed — never mixed. Walking alone is normal, so a signature never blocks anything. Finalise in one tap, note why a party wasn't there, or record that the note was sent. INCOMING INSPECTIONS Prove a delivery was in order, not only that something was wrong. Items with serial or tag numbers, ordered vs. received quantities with automatic shortfall flagging, and per-item transport indicators — shock, tilt, humidity card, desiccant, pressure. Sample checks are printed on the sheet, so a spot check is never mistaken for a full inspection. Receiver and driver sign on the spot — the driver is only there once — and out comes an A4 certificate with photo appendix. NONCONFORMANCES (NCR) For deviations from what was ordered: built but not ordered, executed differently from the design, left out entirely, or wrong material. References the contract — drawing and revision, specification clause, variation order — and states it both ways, as required and as found. Records cost, delay and affected trades, then closes with a signed decision: approved as built, redone, executed now or credited. Its own number series, its own report. CLIENT-READY PDF DOCUMENTS Project reports in Detailed, Compact and Mail-friendly styles with your logo, company details and a cover colour of your choice — plus visit notes, delivery certificates and nonconformance reports.
