A photo remembers what you saw. It rarely remembers how it felt. Candid fires both cameras at once. The back camera keeps the moment: your dog asleep on the couch, the sky doing something unrepeatable, the small scene you stopped for. The front camera quietly keeps you: the look on your face while you looked. Not posed, because you were not posing. That is the whole point. Later, the two come back together. The photo shows the moment, and the little window in the corner shows the feeling: the softness when you watched your dog dreaming, the awe at the top of the trail, the grin you did not know you were wearing. Years from now that corner is the part that puts you back inside the memory. WHAT IT DOES - One press, two photos. The scene at full quality, and your honest reaction alongside it. - Your original photo stays untouched. Layouts are applied on top and can be changed or undone any time, even months later. - Four looks: Inset, Split, Postcard with real film grain, or the scene alone with your reaction kept on file. - Swap which photo leads with a double tap. - Center Stage keeps your face in frame while you concentrate on the shot. Toggle it with the head icon. - A real camera: pinch to zoom, tap to focus and expose, long press to lock, volume-button shutter. - Optional location tags, so the memory keeps its place. - Share anywhere, or save straight to your camera roll. Candid asks only for the camera, permission to add photos to your library, and optionally your location for tagging. It cannot read your photo library, and nothing leaves your phone. No account, no tracking, no feed. The moment, and how it felt to be there. Both, or it is only half the memory.
