A campfire, a timer, and nothing asking for your attention. Camplight is a focus timer that looks like an evening at a quiet camp. Start a session and the fire is lit. Lock your phone and it keeps burning — the session ends only if you leave the app. A place to come back to. You can sit by the fire in a forest clearing, on a lake shore, in a desert or up in the mountains. These are moving scenes rather than still pictures: the fire breathes, the smoke drifts, the water shifts. Day turns to night on your own clock, and the weather follows the real weather where you are. Sound you can leave on. Layers of nature and music, mixed the way you want them. It keeps playing with the screen off, so the phone can go face down on the table and stay there. Two ways to hold yourself to it. The stopwatch counts up and can be stopped after five minutes. Strict mode — free, on by default — ends the session if you leave the app. Locked Mode goes further: you set a minimum length in advance, and until it passes, leaving costs you the session. After that the fire keeps burning until you put it out yourself. Nothing is taken away when a session ends early. The screen simply goes quiet, and the camp is there again tomorrow. Evening after evening. Your streak, your longest run, your hours. Numbers, not applause. Everything syncs through iCloud, so a new phone finds your camp where you left it. Camplight can close other apps for you. In Locked Mode you choose which ones, and Screen Time keeps them shut until you end the session. Nothing you did not choose is touched, and outside a session nothing is blocked at all. No ads. No account. No feed.
