Calque translates the page, not just the words. Photograph a letter, a contract or a menu, in any of 130 languages, and you get the same page back in your language. Tables keep their rows. Stamps and logos stay where they were. Whatever language your mail arrives in, Calque reads it. DOCUMENTS - Photograph a page, import a PDF, or pick a photo you already have. - The translation is rebuilt as a clean page with the text where the original text sat. - Long document? Calque shows what each page mentions, so you translate only the pages that matter. - Choose exactly which parts of a page to translate. Everything you leave out keeps its original words. - 130 languages, including Somali, Tigrinya, Arabic, Ukrainian, Polish, Cantonese and Norwegian. REPLY - Answer an official letter without knowing its language: write in yours, and Calque drafts a short formal reply in the letter's language, with a back-translation so you can read every word before you send it. - Share the reply as a dated, signable letter PDF, ready to print or attach. VOICE - Hold the phone between you. Speak, and the other person hears it in their language. Answer, and it comes back in yours. - Works even for languages phones normally cannot hear, like Somali, Pashto and Amharic, with a free daily allowance. - A natural voice reads the translation out loud. CHECK - The most important sentence of every letter, on top: what the document is and what you must do. - Dates, deadlines and amounts are found for you. Add them straight to your calendar. - Every number and date in the translation is checked against the original. Anything that deviates is marked on the page. KEEP - Export as a bilingual PDF with a real, searchable text layer. Or translation-only PDF, PNG, Word and Markdown. - Official terminology packs, built only from public sources, keep agency terms consistent. Your corrections always win, and are remembered on this device only. PRICES - Three pages to start. One page credit translates one page after that, and credits never expire. - One free page every day, with a small mark on it. - Calque Pro is an optional monthly subscription with a monthly page quota and unlimited voice. Packs never renew on their own. PRIVACY - Your documents are stored only on this device. No account, no analytics. - To translate, a picture of the page is sent to Anthropic, where it is read and translated. Spoken sentences for the natural voice, and voice clips for languages your phone cannot hear on its own, are sent to a speech provider. You approve all of this before the first time. - Deleting a document deletes everything that came with it.
