Build your streak and move forward ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Cairn uses Android's AccessibilityService API after you choose to enable Pause Detection. It uses URL-bar text in supported browsers to compare the displayed domain on your device with Cairn's protected-site list. When a match is found, Cairn replaces the protected tab with google.com and opens an exercise pause. If you separately enable Commitment Mode, Accessibility also checks Cairn's Android App Info screen for an uninstall attempt and opens the same pause. Cairn uses only URL-bar text for site detection; it does not use webpage content, passwords, messages, or unrelated app content. URLs and matched domains are not stored or transmitted. Without Accessibility access, automatic Pause Detection and the optional Commitment Mode check do not work.
