Store description excerpt

Cacova Brewlab is a small, offline coffee workshop that lives in your phone. It collects twelve brewing methods — V60, Aeropress, Chemex, the Moka pot, the French press, espresso, cold brew, the Kalita-style flat pour-over, the Vietnamese phin, the Turkish ibrik, the siphon and the Clever — and lays each one out with the dose, the water mass, the grind, the temperature and a phase-by-phase plan you can actually run. Pick a method on the Brews tab and you see it the way a barista would: the origin and year, the ratio, the grind, the water temperature, and the rhythm in minutes. Tap a card and the Timer tab opens with the recipe loaded. The Timer tab is a multi-stage stopwatch. It walks you phase by phase — bloom, pour, draw, plunge, rest — and shows the instruction for the current phase as you go. Start, pause, reset. The current phase is highlighted in the breakdown below so you can scrub ahead with your eye and know what is next. The Library tab is your shelf of beans. Add a bag with its name, origin, roast level and flavour notes and it stays on the device. Use it to remember which Ethiopian Sidamo you liked, which roaster sells your house bean, which decaf is actually any good. The Journal tab is a tasting log. After a brew, add an entry: the method, the bean, the grind, a one-to-five rating, and any notes. The list groups newest first; remove what you no longer need with a tap. The Quiz tab is a light eight-question check on brewing craft — bloom phase, ratios, why Chemex makes a cleaner cup than V60, where the Moka pot comes from. Your best score is kept, locally. Cacova Brewlab runs entirely on the phone. There is no account to make, no internet permission, no analytics, no ads. The only permission the app holds is VIBRATE, for a small tactile cue. Your beans and your journal stay with you. A useful pocket companion for home baristas, anyone newly arrived at a third-wave roaster trying to remember what to buy next, weekend brewers learning a new method, or coffee enthusiasts who want one place for their library and tasting notes.
