Building Bones is an evidence-based program that is designed to support your bone health. It builds personalised programs across strength, balance and impact to help support you to improve your strength, balance and bone health outcomes. Building Bones provides exercise, education, tracking, behaviour change and community support to help support you on your bone health journey. We do not provide a one size fits all program. Your program is based on your assessment and exercise ability and changes throughout each 12 week block. Building Bones is designed to support people with osteoporosis, low bone density, osteopenia, people at high risk of developing osteoporosis and for those who want to take a proactive approach to healthy ageing and preventing low bone density. Developed by Jenni Dowley, a chartered physiotherapist who specialises in osteoporosis and low bone density, Building Bones is evidence-based, engaging, and based on clinical experience that spans over 15 years experience and over 10,000 patient consultations. You will need an invite code to access the application. Please reach out to us at info@buildingboneshealth.com if you want to take part. Research has shown that exercise can improve bone mineral density, improve bone health, reduce falls, improve strength and improve quality of life in people with low bone density. Exercise is recommended as a prevention, management and treatment for osteoprosis and low bone density by most major guidelines. Building Bones does not diagnose, treat or replace medical advice.
