Budgetese reads it, sorts every transaction into categories, and checks its own working against the totals printed on your statement. If the numbers don't reconcile, it tells you instead of guessing. WHAT YOU GET • Monthly view — what you spent, what came in, what's left • Automatic categorisation that learns from your corrections • Search that adds up — type a shop or a person and see the total, not just a list of rows • Insights — unusual spending, new recurring payments, how much of your income you kept • Trends — spending over time, by category, and a daily heatmap • Month-by-month breakdown per account, in or out • Recurring payments and what's still to leave this month • Duplicate detection, so importing the same statement twice doesn't double-count • Multiple accounts and currencies, never mixed together • Face ID lock, and export to CSV or PDF whenever you want PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. No servers. Budgetese makes no network requests at all — your statements are read on your device and stay there. Delete the app and the data goes with it, because there was never a copy anywhere else. Works with statement PDFs from most banks.
