Bubu offers a different way to find a partner. Bubu is an Indonesian dating app for college graduates. Every user must pass education verification based on PDDikti data before they can use Bubu's main features. We want to build a more curated dating community, with users who have verifiable educational backgrounds and clearer goals for meeting new people. Education Verification Based on PDDikti Bubu users must have completed at least a Diploma 3 (D3) degree. During registration, users are asked to upload a screenshot of their education data from PDDikti as supporting proof of verification. This data is reviewed by the Bubu admin before the account is verified. PDDikti screenshots are used only for the verification process and will be automatically deleted after the account is approved by the admin. Screenshots or verification documents are not shown to other users. Vibe Check Vibe Check is Bubu's main feature for finding a partner. View verified user profiles, listen to their Voice Bio, and then decide if you're interested in getting to know them better. Profile photos are blurred so the introduction process isn't solely based on appearance. If you're both interested, you'll become a Match and a Private Chat will open. Voice Bio Through Voice Bio, you can get to know someone's speech, demeanor, humor, and personality before deciding to pursue an introduction. Bubu aims to make the dating process feel more human than simply looking at photos and swiping. Auto Match Voice Want to get to know each other more spontaneously? Use Auto Match to connect with other verified users via Voice Call. After the conversation is over, each person can decide whether to continue the introduction. If both choose to continue, you'll become a Match and can use Private Chat. Lobby In addition to Vibe Check, Bubu has a Lobby, a public space for sharing Voice Notes and interacting with other users. Listen to someone's story, opinion, experience, and perspective before deciding if you're a good match. Available topics include Relationships, Sharing Your Heart, Work Life, Entertainment, Motivation, and casual conversation. Private Chat Only After Matching Bubu doesn't use a free DM system. Private chats can only be initiated after both users have expressed interest and successfully matched. This system gives you greater control over who can contact you privately.
