Store description excerpt
Everyone has an opinion about whether AI is a bubble. Bubble Watch has a number. The app reads public filings and public economic data, runs them through one published model, and puts the result on a single dial: how fragile the AI trade looks right now. One number, the same for everyone, rebuilt every night. WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEASURES The reading combines five pillars: • MONEY: Capital spending against cash flow, credit spreads, the cost of the buildout • STRUCTURE: Who is funding whom, and how many of those arrangements are circular • CONCRETE: Data centers, power, and the physical stuff that has to get built • NARRATIVE: How the story is being told, and by whom • EXPOSURE: What a drawdown would actually touch Underneath sit nearly 200 companies and funds, the financing relationships mapped between them, and eight data sources — SEC EDGAR filings, the St. Louis Fed (FRED), the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and published ETF holdings among them. SHOW YOUR WORK Every figure is labeled with where it came from: measured values computed from a live source, seeded values drawn from clearly marked sample data, and editorial values that are our own written commentary. You always know which is which, because the app says so on screen rather than in the fine print. Inside, a full Methodology screen lays out the formula, names the parts that are hand-maintained, and shows how much of the reading is automated. When a figure is stale, the app says so. THE DOMINOES Watch conditions sit alongside the main reading — the things that would have to happen for the picture to change. Each carries its own evidence and its own date, and each can switch back off rather than only on. WHAT'S FREE, WHAT'S PAID The main reading, the dominoes, and the methodology are free. A single one-time purchase unlocks the deeper surfaces: the full company registry, per-company dossiers, blast-radius exposure, the circular-financing map, and the historical barometer. No subscription, nothing renews, nothing to cancel. Buy it once and it stays unlocked. WHAT THIS ISN'T Commentary, not advice. Every figure is the output of a model, and a model is a simplification of a complicated world. Bubble Watch knows nothing about you. No accounts, no sign-in, no portfolio to connect, nothing linked to a brokerage. It can't hand you a recommendation because it has no idea who you are — and that's deliberate. Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Don't make a financial decision because a dial glowed a little brighter today. If you need advice, talk to someone licensed to give it. Available in the United States. 18+.
