Students at the BS School of Biomedicine now have a tool to assist them during their specialization: the BS School app: Student Portal. Through it, they can track their tuition payments, view academic information, including course name, and even access their grade records. Furthermore, they can check in and check out of their rotation hospitals. Postgraduate studies at the BS School of Biomedicine are synonymous with excellence. Therefore, we developed an application focused on meeting the student's needs. Using geolocation, students can register their presence at the hospital through check-in. For check-out, they will need to submit a document with information about the work performed that day. In this way, the postgraduate student will gradually create their own logbook. This will allow both the student and their preceptor to monitor their progress throughout the course. Rotations between hospitals will be indicated in the app, with the day, time, and address, and even any necessary observations will be noted. You will no longer need to consult the academic team or your preceptor to find out your next rotation! This will give students more autonomy and help them with their monthly planning. One of the highlights of the Student Portal is the Payments tab, where financial records are kept. There you can see the details of each monthly installment, indicating whether it is up-to-date, overdue (with the remaining balance highlighted), or open, in the case of future charges. Another advantage is the ability to track the progress of the contract. That is, how much has already been paid and how much is left to complete the payment of the postgraduate course. This information is detailed in the Home tab, showing the percentage of the amount paid and the due date of the next monthly payment. All this to help students manage their payments! Students will also have access to the grades entered in each subject of their postgraduate course. All subjects listed in the Course Pedagogical Project (PPC) will be duly registered on the platform and will appear to the student when the grade for each subject is entered. Furthermore, it will show the overall average, allowing the student to track their academic progress. The Student Portal has another great advantage: it facilitates access to registration data. The registration number, for example, is highlighted along with the student's name, the postgraduate course in progress, and the institution responsible for accreditation by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Another relevant piece of information is the start and end dates of the postgraduate course being undertaken. If the student has chosen to pursue a specialization followed by a subspecialty, the end date will be the end date of the subspecialty.
