Store description excerpt
Check food ingredients against your personal triggers, then keep track of how you felt after eating. Living with reflux or EoE can mean reading a lot of labels. Brosophagus gives you a friendly place to check ingredients, save foods, and record your experience—with a little animated companion along the way. CHECK A LABEL, BARCODE, OR DISH Scan a barcode, photograph an ingredients label or meal, or type or dictate ingredients. Get an AI-assisted assessment that explains which ingredients may match the conditions and triggers in your profile. Ingredients inferred from a dish photo are marked as inferred. MAKE IT PERSONAL Set up a profile for heartburn / GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), celiac disease, lactose intolerance, IBS, histamine intolerance, or gastritis. Add the trigger foods you already know about. Results distinguish personal trigger matches from general condition guidance. SEE WHAT THE CHECK FOUND Each assessment shows “No matches found,” “Proceed with caution,” or “Hard pass,” with the ingredients and reasoning behind it. “No matches found” is not a guarantee that a food is safe for you. RECORD YOUR EXPERIENCE After eating, record whether you felt fine or experienced discomfort, reflux, difficulty swallowing, bloating, nausea, or a flare-up. Your history keeps the latest reaction for each scanned food. Scanned foods you have not rated stay unknown. GET A CLEARER FOOD HISTORY See how many foods you rated, how many you marked as feeling fine, and how many had symptoms. Search your saved foods by name, brand, or ingredient. Review possible ingredient patterns and practical next steps, with links to medical sources. Older assessments are flagged for review; recheck available ingredients against your current profile while keeping your reaction. Your history is a record to discuss with your clinician or dietitian. It does not prove which foods caused symptoms, track every meal, or calculate calories and nutrients. A LITTLE COMPANION, WITHOUT THE JUDGMENT Name your peach-colored companion and tap to say hello. His mood follows the reactions you log: a quiet moment after a rough reaction, a cheerful wiggle after feeling fine. Discover three animations per mood and little messages as you check in. His expressions are playful, not a health score. Reduced Motion is supported. ASK ABOUT GERD, EOE AND RESEARCH Explore general information about GERD, EoE and the other supported digestive conditions. Look up a limited selection of recent PubMed-indexed trial and review abstracts, with study dates, source links and limitations. This is not a comprehensive medical review or personal treatment advice. Mention a food you ate and the companion can offer to log it. Review its name and meal time, then tap Add to tracker. Nothing is added without confirmation, and chat entries have no ingredient assessment or inferred reaction. Chat uses AWS Bedrock AgentCore and guardrails. With your agreement, your question and selected conditions are proce
