Bright Doctor is the companion app for verified practitioners on the Bright Health platform. Run your day from one place, see who booked you, answer patient messages, accept incoming consultations, and keep your profile up to date. BUILT FOR DOCTORS EVERYWHERE • A single inbox. Patient messages land in one feed, sorted by most recent. Pull to refresh, open a thread, reply in seconds. • Appointments at a glance. Upcoming bookings, past consultations, and no-shows — all in a clean timeline. • Accept calls anywhere. Incoming voice and video consultations ring your phone like a regular call — even when the app is closed or your screen is off. • Instant push notifications for every new message, so you never miss a patient. • Verified specialty list. During onboarding, pick your specialty from the platform's accepted list. Your profile is tied to your medical license so patients know they're talking to a real practitioner. • Offline-friendly. A clear "no internet" screen when the network drops, with automatic reconnection as soon as you're back online. • Bilingual. Use the app in English or French; switch at any time. PRIVACY AND SECURITY Patient data is confidential. Messages and consultation notes are encrypted in transit and stored on Google Firebase and our secured backend. Voice and video calls are peer-to-peer routed through ZEGOCLOUD and are never recorded. Access is restricted to practitioners assigned to each patient. WHO IT'S FOR Bright Doctor is only available to practitioners who have been verified on the Bright Health platform.
