Store description excerpt

Bracketfield runs a youth softball or baseball tournament end to end — divisions, pool play, brackets, scores, standings, field assignments — and shows every change to the families standing at the field. It is free. No paid tier, no per-team fee, no in-app purchases, and no advertising anywhere in it. FOR PARENTS AND SPECTATORS You never make an account. Not to search, not to follow a team, not to get a notification. - Search by team name, club, city or event code, and open the tournament. - The whole weekend's schedule, filtered by division, by field, or to live games only. - Every division's bracket on one page. A game that is not set yet reads "Winner of W1-3" rather than sitting blank. - Pool standings that name the tiebreaker that settled a placing. - Follow a team and your phone tells you when its game moves to another field or another time. Notifications are rationed on purpose: a field change breaks through, a run in the third inning does not. - Venue address, field list, parking notes, and a directions button that hands off to Apple or Google Maps. - Director announcements and this device's notification history in one Inbox. FOR DIRECTORS - Build divisions and pools, generate pool play and bracket games, and post scores. - Dry-run the weekend before anyone drives anywhere. It builds every game in memory, writes nothing, and reports what will not fit and why: "6 games will not fit", "one team is at the park 11.4 hours in one day", "3 first-round bracket games would be between poolmates". - Presets for 21 sanctioning bodies and editions across softball and baseball, with 19 transcribed tiebreaker rule sets. Every pre-filled value says whether it is that body's rule, a common default, or yours to set. Presets describe published rules; Bracketfield is not affiliated with or endorsed by any sanctioning body. - Tiered brackets, as many as you want, named by you — Gold/Silver, Championship/Consolation, AAA/AA/A, or your own. Seeds restart inside each bracket, and poolmates are kept apart within each tier. - Print one QR slip per field. An umpire scans it and posts scores from their own phone all weekend, with no account and no app install. Those scores reach families in seconds and land in your "waiting on you" queue as unconfirmed until you confirm them. - Paste a registration spreadsheet in and check the preview before it imports. - Draft, published, in progress, complete. A draft event is invisible to the public. Closing has its own screen so final placings never get skipped. - Duplicate last year's event. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - No player rosters, no player stats, no box scores. A team is the smallest unit, and no child's information is collected. - No online registration and no payments. Entry and gate fees are numbers a director records in event settings. Bracketfield never takes money from anybody and has no way to. - It does not run the game clock or enforce a run rule. It fills in and cites the body's published rule for your rule
