Store description excerpt

Every book has a soundtrack. Book Music is where readers build it together. Point your camera at the barcode on the back of a book and you land on that book's page — the songs other readers chose for it, ranked by vote. Agree with what's at the top, or nominate the track you think belongs there instead. HOW IT WORKS 01 — SCAN Scan the ISBN barcode on the back cover. No book in hand? Search by title or author, or type the ISBN yourself. 02 — LISTEN Every book has a soundtrack built by the people who read it, ordered by votes. Tap any song to open it in Apple Music or Spotify. 03 — NOMINATE Search the music catalog and add the song that belongs in the book. Your nomination starts with your own upvote. 04 — VOTE Push the right songs up and the wrong ones down. The list re-sorts as you go. ONE BOOK, ONE SOUNDTRACK Hardcover, paperback, the film tie-in edition with the different cover — every edition shares a single soundtrack, so the conversation doesn't get split three ways. BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Scanning, reading soundtracks and searching all work signed out. You only need an account to vote or nominate, and Sign in with Apple takes two taps. YOUR SHELF Your profile keeps every song you've nominated and every book you've had a hand in. NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION Book Music doesn't host or stream audio. It points you at Apple Music or Spotify, where the artists get paid. Book covers and details come from Open Library and Google Books. Song results come from the Apple Music and Spotify catalogs. Book Music is not affiliated with Apple, Spotify, Open Library or Google. Soundtracks live on the web too, at bookmusic.app.
