BMF TE is Bob Mills Furniture's in-house terminal application for warehouse operations. It connects our rugged scan guns and Android tablets to the STORIS inventory and order-management system over a standard VT100/telnet session on the company network. The app is built and maintained internally and is tailored to one job: fast, reliable terminal access to STORIS for scanning and data entry on the warehouse floor. Features: • VT100/telnet connectivity to the STORIS host, with automatic reconnect. • Hardware barcode scanning on Janam/Point Mobile scan guns. • Camera-based barcode scanning on devices with a camera (such as tablets), using on-device decoding. • On-screen keyboard with number, letter, and symbol pages for quick data entry. • A function-key bar (arrow keys, F-keys, Enter, Esc) that matches the terminal workflow. • Distinct audible and haptic feedback for good versus bad scans. • Adjustable font size and an 80-column display with horizontal panning. • Optional kiosk mode that locks a device to the app for single-purpose use. BMF TE collects no personal data, contains no ads or analytics, and communicates only with the internal STORIS system. It is intended for use by Bob Mills Furniture employees on company-managed devices.
