Bluewater Forecast is a marine weather app built for offshore anglers, surfers, boaters, and anyone who reads the ocean before heading out. Instead of stitching together a dozen tabs, you get the conditions that actually matter for a day on the water — on one fast, map-first screen. WHAT YOU GET • Live buoy data — real observations from NOAA/NDBC stations near you: wave height, dominant period, water and air temperature, wind, and pressure. • Interactive ocean map — pan an animated chart of wave height, wind, and currents. Streamlines and particle flow show you where the water is moving. • Wind & waves — direction, speed, gusts, significant wave height, and swell period hour by hour, so you can read the surf and the sea state before you go. • Tides & moon — high/low tide times and the moon phase for planning bite windows and surf sessions. • Barometric pressure — real MSLP trends on the meteogram, so you can see a front coming. • GPS position — drop a reticle on the map and copy exact coordinates to share a spot. • Marine alerts — active National Weather Service marine warnings for the water in view. BUILT FOR THE WATER The interface is designed to read like a chartplotter — dark, high-contrast, and glanceable in bright sun or on a rocking deck. Everything is tuned for speed, so a forecast loads in seconds even on a weak signal offshore. FREE TO USE The core forecast, buoy readings, and map are free.
