BlueID Check is a mobile digital ID verifier application designed for authorized field use by approved law enforcement organizations. The app helps authorized law enforcement users request, receive, and review a mobile driver's license or mobile ID presented from a supported digital wallet, where available and permitted. BlueID Check is intended to support secure, consent-based, in-person identity verification workflows using an iPhone-based verifier experience. BlueID Check is built for controlled law enforcement environments where identity verification must be performed quickly, clearly, and consistently. The app is designed to help the authorized user confirm whether a presented mobile credential is valid, unexpired, authenticated, or unable to be verified. Key capabilities include: - Mobile driver’s license / mobile ID verification workflow - Consent-based credential presentation - Clear Scan Verified, Scan Invalid, expired, or failed status results - Display of approved credential information when released by the wallet - Driver photo / portrait display when provided by the credential response - Scan history for recent verification activity - Configurable data retention behavior - Backend-supported organization, user, and device registration - Device binding and token-based access control - Configurable status and error messages - Optional location and device metadata capture when enabled by policy and permission BlueID Check is not designed for marketing, advertising, consumer tracking, profiling, or resale of identity data. The app is intended for approved law enforcement organization use only. Access to the app is controlled through approved registration, user authorization, and device validation. Credential data handling is designed around privacy-protective defaults. Personal credential data is displayed only as needed for the verification workflow and is retained only according to approved configuration, policy, and applicable requirements. Backend storage of personal credential details is disabled by default unless specifically enabled by authorized law enforcement policy and configuration. BlueID Check supports a simple and consistent verifier interface. A valid and authenticated credential is shown with a clear verified status. Invalid, unauthenticated, expired, or failed verification results are clearly shown to the user so the verification outcome is not ambiguous. The app is intended to help approved law enforcement organizations evaluate and use mobile digital ID verification in real-world field environments while preserving consent, security, auditability, and controlled data handling.
