Store description excerpt

Push the red block first and you have just walled off the only way out for the blue one. Block Puzzle: Escape Jam is a sliding block puzzle built entirely on that kind of ordering problem: colored blocks travel the corridors of a grid until each reaches the exit that matches its color. There is no timer and no internet connection required, so you can take a board apart at your own pace. The rule is simple enough to learn in one level: a block slides one tile at a time and stops when something is in the way. The difficulty comes from sharing. Every block uses the same few corridors, so the block you move first decides which routes are still open for the rest. Push the wrong color early and the path you needed is gone. Gates are the first obstacle that will catch you out in this slide puzzle. They flip open and closed as blocks pass through them, which turns a straight corridor into a question of sequence. A gate that opens for the red block may already be shut when the blue one arrives, so ordering your moves matters more than the distance each block has to travel. Bomb blocks bring a different kind of pressure. They must be cleared from the board before they detonate, and a single bomb left unattended can undo a plan you spent several moves building. Ice doors only give way to a block of the right color, and colorful paths let a single hue through, so color belongs to the route and not just the destination. Keys unlock tiles that stand in your way, though picking one up too early can close a passage you still needed. When a layout genuinely blocks you, three power-ups answer three different kinds of dead end. Freeze pins a block in place while you rearrange everything around it. Hammer breaks a single barrier tile. Magnet pulls a block one step back toward you. Each has its own cooldown on the harder stages, so they reward timing rather than replacing planning. The Dragon's Treasure event puts up to one hundred players on the same seven-stage run. Clear all seven stages in a row without a single failure and the whole group shares the reward. Hundreds of hand-built stages keep remixing the obstacles as you advance. A run of gate-timing boards can give way to bomb-and-key puzzles a few levels later, so reading routes stays interesting long past the opening stages. Global leaderboards show how far you have come against players worldwide, a daily bonus is waiting each time you return, and your progress saves automatically. This is an offline puzzle game in the full sense: no connection is needed for any level, ads are optional, and nothing counts down while you think. If you enjoy logic games, brain teasers and block puzzles that reward planning over reflexes, Escape Jam is built for exactly that.
