Store description excerpt
Your phone's torch turns on. That's it. Blinker lets you decide how it flashes. Drag the slider anywhere from 0.1 to 60 flashes per second, or hit one of the quick buttons. Five patterns are ready to go: steady, repeat, pulse, strobe, and SOS in proper Morse. RECORD YOUR OWN This is the part people stick around for. Hold the REC button and the light comes on. Let go and it goes off. Tap out any rhythm you like and Blinker saves it as a preset you can name. Recorded too much at the start or the end? Drag the handles to cut it, the same way you'd trim a video. Then set it to loop, or play through once and switch itself off. WIDGET AND QUICK SETTINGS TILE Put a widget on your home screen and tap it to toggle the light. Resize it down to a single cell if you're tight on space. There's a Quick Settings tile as well, so you can pull down the shade and hit it without unlocking. Both of them pick up whatever pattern you were last using, not just plain on. AUTO OFF TIMER Anywhere from 1 minute to 1 hour. Handy if you use it as a night light and fall asleep. Lock the screen and the flashing carries on. WHAT IT'S GOOD FOR Being seen on a night ride or run. Roadside breakdowns. Camping and power cuts. Parties, if you want a strobe. Signalling across a distance when shouting won't work. Finding something that rolled under the sofa. WHAT'S FREE Every feature is free to use. Ads appear only as a banner at the bottom of the main screen, and anything beyond that is entirely opt-in: watch one to earn a reward (more presets, longer REC time). There are absolutely no ads that pop up out of nowhere and interrupt you. PREMIUM One payment, no subscription. Ads off, 200 presets, and recordings up to five minutes. BEFORE YOU START Fast flashing light can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy, including people who've never had one before. Blinker shows a warning the first time you open it, and again when you move into the range where the risk is highest. Please don't point it at anyone who hasn't agreed to it. Available in 16 languages.
