ABOUT THIS APP BIRD WATCHING? LOG YOUR OBSERVATIONS! Log your bird observations simple and quick, wherever you are. Examine immediately if, where and when you’ve seen this bird before. Or search through the complete bird-taxonomy for other birds in the same genus, family or order. Have a look at all locations and observations you've logged before, without needing the internet. This app is made to log observations of birds simple and fast. An observation is recorded in an Observation Log, by means of the date and it's location. This specific location can be used more than once: by using a different date you can record more logs for this one location. In these logs you can make a selection of every bird that exists: more than 10.000 birds are available. Besides all species of birds, also the relationships between them are available. Using these you can, at any level of the bird-taxonomy, simply find out which birds you did or didn't see yet: from Species to Genera to Families and finally to Orders. Furthermore you may also add photos to the species, and by doing so build your own photo gallery. You will never need a connection to the internet: all this information is available on your telephone and remains there. (This app is designed to record your observations and is not meant to identify birds.) LANGUAGES In this version of the app the languages English and Dutch are available. You can set the language for names in the bird-taxonomy at: Scientific, English and/or Dutch. BACKUP YOUR DATA Backup your data in a local file on your device. For safety reasons you can move or copy this file to a different medium. If you want to you use the data on another device, you can restore the file there. SHARE your observation log Use the share-icon to send an observation log to a different app on your phone, e.g. Whatsapp, Messenger or an app like Notes. IOC World Bird List All the bird names and the complete taxonomy is kept up-to-date using the World Bird List of the International Ornithological Committee.
