Bird Rollcall is the purpose-built tool for an evening bird rollcall — the nightly session where the host calls out species in field-book order and everyone in the room reports what they saw within a range of the location. Built for speed and for the field, it works with zero internet. Every entry is saved instantly on the device, so a dropped wifi connection never costs a single sighting. When a connection is available, sessions sync in the background to the observatory's hub and consolidate across every assistant's phone and laptop. A warden creates your account and gives you a username and password to sign in. Without an account from the observatory, the app has no data to show. This is a specialist tool for one observatory's workflow, not a general birding or checklist app.
