Store description excerpt

Never over the tire's max. Type the number printed on your sidewall and the recommendation stops there. If it would have gone higher, the app cuts it and says so — in words, not just colour. No other app in this category asks for that number at all. Any width you ride. 45 mm gravel. 2.8 inch fat bike. 25 mm road. Nothing is capped by the app, because the app is not the one who decides what you ride. A range, not one number. Tire pressure does not have a single right answer. You get a band for the front and a band for the rear, with a value marked inside each, and you pick from there. The rear is not the front. Your weight is not split evenly, so the two ends do not get the same number. The split changes with the surface too. Five surfaces. Smooth road, rough road, gravel, singletrack, sand and snow. Each one moves the numbers, and each one says which way it moves them. It knows it gets colder. Tell it what temperature you filled at and what you are riding in, and the drop is already in the number you see. The formula is published. The About screen shows the whole calculation, including the constant, and the five setups it was fixed against. Other calculators in this category do not tell you. Nothing to go stale. There is no list of bikes, tires or cars in this app and no network code, so nothing here can stop working when a server does.
