The algorithm for picking teams was established in the late 1970’s and has been modified over the years and now has been accepted as a near-optimal teams picking algorithm. Our promise is to create fair golf teams – and the typical result is that teams that play well will win and teams that play poorly will lose; but that’s how it should be!
