Store description excerpt
Betcity is a bright tap to blast puzzle set in a night city that runs on fruit. A crate of eight by ten neon berries sits in front of you. Tap any group of two or more touching berries of the same colour and the whole cluster pops at once, the berries above tumble into the gap and a fresh row rolls in from the top. Small clusters barely pay. Big ones pay a lot. Because the score climbs faster than the size of the group, taking a few seconds to hunt for a cluster of eight or ten is almost always worth it, and popping six together leaves a neon berry behind. Tap a neon berry and it fires along its row and its column at the same time, which is often the only way to reach an awkward corner of the crate. Twenty four blocks make up the run. Each one asks for a delivery: a set number of berries of two or three specific colours, all within a limited number of taps. Three tools sit under the crate to help. Charge pops one stubborn berry, Beam wipes a full row, and Sort reshuffles the whole crate when it goes flat. Every berry you pop pays credits, and credits build the district. Nine buildings go up one at a time, and each one changes how you play. The depot and the sky rail hand you extra taps, the neon grid and the crown spire raise your score rate, the charge lab, the beam tower and the sorting yard stock you with tools before the first tap, the night market pays you more, and the vine park makes neon berries appear one berry sooner. Watch the skyline on the home screen fill up as you go. Records track your biggest single pop and your best block, and a local ranking board puts your best score next to the old names of the district. All progress lives on your own device and one button in the settings clears it completely. No purchases, no adverts, no waiting. Portrait, one hand, fully offline.
