Five Daily Prayers is a simple application that brings together prayer times, the direction of the Qibla, and daily worship tracking in one place. No ads, no account creation, no tracking. PRAYER TIMES FROM THE DİYANET CALENDAR Prayer times are read from the Diyanet's own calendar and cover all 868 districts of Türkiye. Data is downloaded to the device once, after which the application does not connect to any service while running. If there is an out-of-coverage day or location, the application will revert to its own astronomical calculation — meaning it works even without internet. If there is a difference with your local mosque, you can make an adjustment of ±30 minutes per prayer time. NOTIFICATIONS Notifications arrive even when the application is closed. Each prayer time has its own "advance warning" period; there is also a warning for sunrise, as the time for the morning prayer is shown there. Notifications for disliked prayer times, Friday prayer reminders, suhoor and iftar are also provided. Notifications are silent between the hours you specify. Ringtone and vibration are selected from Android's own notification channel settings. Beş Vakit (Five Daily Prayers) HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Large widget: location, Gregorian and Hijri dates, countdown to the next prayer time, and six prayer times of the day. Small widget: backgroundless, only the remaining time on top of the wallpaper. They refresh more frequently as the prayer time approaches. QIBLA Qibla compass, calibration, and Qibla line on a satellite map. Since phone compasses are affected by metal and magnetic fields, there is another way that doesn't require a compass at all: the direction of the sun is calculated only from the clock and coordinates. The app says "turn to the sun, turn this much left," gives the Qibla time of the day, and allows you to calibrate the compass with a single touch by pointing the phone towards the sun. PRAYER Zikirmatik (prayer beads set after prayer and adding your own dhikr), prayer tracking and serial day counter, monthly statistics, missed prayer counter, Esma-ul Husna and Nasuh Repentance tracking. RELIGIOUS DAYS AND PRAYERS Holy nights, holidays, the three holy months, and lunar phases are automatically extracted from the Hijri calendar. Prayers specific to occasions such as Muharram, Ashura, Rajab, Raghaib, Mi'raj, Barat, Qadr, Arafah, Iftar, and Friday are automatically displayed and reminded when that time is entered; with Arabic text, Turkish translation, and source page. RAMADAN AND FRIDAY Iftar and Sahur countdown, fasting tracking, day counter. Friday reminder, Thursday evening Surah Al-Kahf alert, and salawat counter. MOSQUES NEARBY Mosques within a 3 km radius are listed with directions and walking distance. PRIVACY Your location is not left the device; calculations are done on the phone.
