Combine your boat profile, saved berth, forecast wind, marine current guidance, available space and crew setup into a clear, explainable pre-berthing briefing. PLAN AROUND YOUR BOAT Create a reusable boat profile with the handling details that matter during low-speed maneuvering, including propulsion, prop walk, thrusters, windage and normal crew size. SAVE THE BERTHS YOU USE Store marina coordinates, dock-line direction, water side, berth type, dock height, hazards and local approach notes. Reuse the same berth geometry whenever you return. UNDERSTAND THE CONDITIONS Optionally load wind information from Apple Weather and marine current model guidance from Open-Meteo. BerthReady converts these readings into dock-relative effects, so you can understand how the conditions may influence the approach. Every automatic reading includes its source, age and confidence level and remains subject to local verification. Manual condition entry is always available. Conservative Low, Elevated and High classifications help you compare forecast periods without claiming that any time is guaranteed safe. Keep roles, lines, fenders, hazards and abort conditions clear, then share the briefing as a locally generated PDF. LEARN FROM EACH ARRIVAL Record explicit post-docking observations about wind response, prop walk, low-speed control and thruster effectiveness. Future plans can apply these observations and explain when they affected the result. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-FIRST No account is required. Boat profiles, berths, calibrations and saved plans remain on your device. The core manual planning flow works offline; network access is used only when you request automatic conditions. IMPORTANT BerthReady is an educational and pre-berthing planning aid. It is not a chartplotter, navigation system, autopilot, vessel-control system or substitute for the skipper’s judgment. Forecasts and marine model guidance may not represent actual conditions inside a marina. Always verify wind, current, visibility, traffic, local rules and the abort route at the berth. If conditions are uncertain or unsafe, delay the approach, abort early or seek qualified assistance.
