The purpose of the application is to carry out measurements that will be used by Beegol to generate reports on the quality of the mobile service offered by broadband operators. The information collected is related to the device and chip that performed the measurements, and is used exclusively for mobile broadband performance studies, grouping measurements made by different users' devices. During the measurement process, five types of information are collected to assess the quality of mobile Internet: 1) Location: The Radio Base Station (ERB) where the measurement was made is identified using information from the device's GPS. 2) Time of measurement: Data is stored about the time the test was performed, including the beginning and end, when applicable. 3) Device and operating system: The manufacturer, model and operating system of the device used in the measurement are recorded. 4) Device performance and characteristics: Collects information about the performance of the device's SMP service, the user's operator, signal strength and connection type (3G, 4G or 5G). 5) Mobile Internet Performance: Tests download and upload rates, latency, latency variation and packet loss between the device and Beegol servers, which are owned by Beegol or its technology partners.
