Beatling makes rhythm something you can see and feel: hold a note for exactly as long as it lasts — not a quick tap, an actual hold. A quarter note is short, a half note twice as long, a dotted half longer still. How these notes relate to each other becomes obvious at a glance, in a length you can see. LEFT HAND KEEPS THE BEAT, RIGHT HAND LEARNS THE RHYTHM Every new rhythm is introduced the same way: the right hand tries it alone first, then the left hand joins in with a steady beat — put side by side, the relationship between rhythm and beat is obvious at a glance. Once it's mastered, both hands start moving together, and rhythm becomes something felt with both hands at once. 200 LEVELS, ONE NEW THING AT A TIME 25 chapters move from plain quarter notes through half notes, dotted notes, rests, eighths, syncopation, sixteenths, notes held across the bar line, staccato and triplets, all the way to 2/4, 3/4, 6/8, 3/8 and 2/2 time, and finally complete 12- to 16-bar pieces. Every level adds exactly one new thing over the one before it. Before every level, the real staff is shown — treble clef on top, bass clef below; the game's own top-and-bottom track layout follows the same logic, so the connection to real sheet music is clear from the very first glance. FEEDBACK YOU CAN SEE AND HEAR There's a real melody hidden behind every level. Every single press gets an instant answer — color, glow, a flying label, and a sound that plays right on the spot. 8 GAME WORLDS Digger, rainbow bridge, fire hose, little monster, steam train, penguin, UFO and air cannon. The same exercise, eight completely different pictures — plus a "Surprise Me" card that rerolls the world for every level. 20 CLASSIC SONGS Every melody is a classic public-domain song, from "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to "Frère Jacques". The Song Park has no level gates, just stars for clean runs. BUILT FOR SEVERAL CHILDREN Each child gets their own profile with their own progress and stars.
