Beach Rise Track is a beach day companion built around one feature most people need and no app has ever done well: a tan timer that actually accounts for your skin. Set your skin type once — from very fair to very dark, using the same six-level phototype scale used in dermatology. Set your goal: light glow, golden tan, or deep tan. Set your sun protection level. The app calculates how long you should spend on each side based on those three inputs and the current UV index, then counts down and vibrates when it is time to flip. A second arc tracks your total sun exposure for the day against the safe daily limit for your skin type. A sunscreen reapplication reminder fires every ninety minutes and immediately after any water activity, because water removes sunscreen regardless of what the label says. Alongside the timer, the app covers the rest of the beach day. A conditions card at the top shows the current UV index with a plain-language label, today's tide times, sunrise and sunset, and wind strength — the four numbers that actually matter before you lay your towel down. A hydration counter vibrates every twenty minutes and tracks how many waters you have had. A packing checklist resets before each visit with your permanent personal list. An activity log lets you check off what the day contained — swam in the sea, found a shell, watched the sunset, had a beach nap — and a set of eighteen lifetime achievement badges unlock permanently as patterns accumulate across visits and seasons. At the end of each visit, the journal asks for one sentence. Over a summer, those sentences become a light record of the season. A calendar view colours every beach day by conditions rating — perfect visits in deep orange, rough ones in grey — so the shape of the whole summer is visible at a glance. A home screen widget shows the active tan session countdown and current UV index without opening the app. No subscription. No social features. No photos. Everything stays on your device.
